- Research shows that arts classes lead to success in school, work, and life. They stimulate students' creativity, and provide them with problem-solving, critical thinking and collaborative skills. And yet, programs across the country are in danger of being cut: only 3% of elementary schools offer dance, whereas only 17% of high schools require music and only 4% require dramatic arts.
