- New York City commuters should expect delays on subways, buses and commuter rail lines Monday as the city’s transit system continues to recover from Sunday’s winter storm, MTA Chair and CEO Janno Lieber said. “We are operating full weekday service on subways, on buses. The commuter rails are operating a robust, although fairly adjusted schedule,” Lieber told "Mornings On 1."

- New York City Emergency Management Commissioner Zach Iscol got emotional Monday morning as he spoke about his plans to step down next month.
Iscol submitted his resignation to Mayor Zohran Mamdani in a letter last week, saying his last day would be Feb. 11.
“I want to just say how lucky I have been alongside the team at Emergency Management and all of our sister agencies,” he said. “I’ve found that government really is truly at its best when it’s a team sport.”
“And Mr. Mayor, I also want to say to you, you really are building a great team here at City Hall,” he added.
