This was the scene outside the embassy.
The protesters said that the Islamic Republic "does not believe in democracy" and that these "elections are a scam."
The Metropolitan police said seven people were arrested today near to the Iranian Consulate in Kensington Court, W8.

- A Met operation has reduced bank follow off crime by 75% in Ealing, Stratford and Ilford by targeting organised crime groups who steal money from vulnerable people leaving banks.
This type of crime is often under-reported, however, estimates show that up to 66% of victims are over 60-years-old.
The Bank Safe project was set up in 2022 in response to the level of follow off crime increase.
Police Sergeant David James, who leads the Bank Safe project for the Met, said: “Distraction theft is a very personal crime that often has life-changing impacts on victims. In most cases, victims do not know they have been targeted and tend to blame themselves for losing their hard earned cash."

- WikiLeaks founder #JulianAssange has been released from prison and left the UK after reaching a plea deal with US authorities.
Court papers filed by the US Justice Department show Assange is scheduled to appear in federal court to plead guilty to an Espionage Act charge of conspiring to unlawfully obtain and disseminate classified national defence information.
He will return to his home country of Australia after his plea and sentencing, scheduled for Wednesday morning local time in the Mariana Islands, a US commonwealth in the Western Pacific.
A plane carrying Assange left Stansted Airport on Monday before landing at a Bangkok airport for refuelling at around noon local time (6am BST) on Tuesday.
Julian Assange’s wife Stella told the BBC she is “elated” and feels a “whirlwind of emotion” following his release from Belmarsh Prison after reaching a plea deal with the US over an espionage charge.
