The Joint Action Front (JAF) has announced its intention of holding a mass action against the recent hike of petrol price and increase of electricity tariffs in the country.
During a press conference on Thursday, JAF made it known that there will be a nationwide mass action on Wednesday, 17 September 2020.
They therefore called on the poor masses, student, traders, professionals, women, unemployed youth, farmers, Christian, Muslim and faith-based organizations to use this mass action to reject the latest hardship in the country.

Yiaga Africa has released its first pre-election Observation report on the forthcoming Edo guber election during a press conference on Thursday, September 3 in Abuja.
During the media chat, Yaiga Africa made known their findings after it had deployed 24 long-term Observers to the 18 LGAs in the state.
According to the report, the two dominant political parties (APC & PDP) are guilty of violent rhetorics, hate speech, vandalism and other forms of unrest.
They also listed 13 of 18 LGAs which are considered to be potential flashpoints of violence.

Sikiru's mother also explained how she had discouraged him from progressing with the design, seeing that he was using waste items.
