Crews are working to get those pigs out of the trailer, a California Highway Patrol officer said crews will have to cut into the trailer to release more pigs out of the trailer. Originally, the intention was to upright the trailer, but crews determined it was too heavy to do so with all of the pigs still inside.

The Chico Police Department said there were multiple 911 calls around 5:12 p.m. reporting gunshots, and there was screaming heard from within the library. When officers arrived, they entered the building through the front doors while the suspect exited from the back, where a perimeter had already been established, police said. The suspect was then taken into custody. On Tuesday, police identified the person arrested as 18-year-old Bradley Scott Sayer of Chico. He now sits in the Butte County Jail on two murder charges.
