- LARNACA – The Jewish Museum of Cyprus commemorated Holocaust Remembrance Day on January 27, 2023, with a solemn event attended by local dignitaries and foreign ambassadors. Rabbi Arie Zeev Raskin, Chief Rabbi of Cyprus, recited a prayer and invited everyone to light a candle in memory of the 11 million souls lost. The event, which took place at 11am in Larnaca, commemorated the 78th anniversary of the liberation.
