According to the family, the incident occurred between 10:00 pm and 11:00 pm on Saturday when armed men stormed their home, searched for valuables, and forcibly took the teenager after failing to find money.
The suspects reportedly contacted the boy’s father, Issah Laulau, the following morning and demanded a ransom for his release, questioning him about his cattle and financial situation.
The President of the Northern Regional Fulani Youth Association of Ghana, Mohammed Yahaya, confirmed the incident and described the distressing circumstances surrounding the abduction.
