- Description
- Tyronne Henderson was just 6-years-old when he was featured on WBZ’s Wednesday’s Child back in 1994 with Jack Williams. Thanks to the segment, he was adopted six months later by a couple who were teachers in Western Mass. Now, he is married with two children, has a successful career, and wants to give back and promote adoption.
Henderson met up with WBZ’s Paula Ebben back where his journey to adoption began – and she brought along a few surprises thanks to some help from the Harlem Globetrotters and Jack Williams. When asked what he would like to say to families who are thinking about adoption - “It changed the trajectory of my life. It changed my sense of belonging and just feeling loved and actually chosen - that you just need to love and be patient but you should do it."
