Rebuilding of the block didn’t start until 2018, when Habitat stepped in to begin the first phase of homes.
The pandemic slowed down the completion of Phase 2.
The front yards of the earlier phases of the project have matured reflecting the personalities of their new owners with some preferring a simple look with one tree and landscape stone while in another front...

Last summer, York State Fair CEO Patrick Ball discussed how the York County Agricultural Society is exploring the future of the event with an initiative called the York State Fair 2030. At the time, he said every option is on the table, including moving the fair back to September.
The nonprofit organization continues to look at the timing of the fair, Ball said during a recent interview.
"At this point, in my opinion, and I think the opinion of the board, we don't have enough data to make a decision," Ball said in a recent interview.

The revelation prompted the county to improve its water-quality monitoring system, entering an agreement with the U.S. Geological Survey to install a state-of-the-art water monitoring system - the first of its kind in the nation - to collect and track data. Instead of relying upon computer models, the system of six monitoring stations along the Susquehanna would collect and compile test results.
