- June 9th marks the day, five years ago, when over a million Hong Kong residents protested against the amendment of the Fugitive Offenders Ordinance. The march started from Liberty Square in Taipei and proceeded to Ximen Honmonji, with hundreds of participants. Hong Kong has now entered the era of the dual National Security Laws. Although the number of Hong Kong participants in this year's march is noticeably lower than last year, many Taiwanese people have come out to show their support and express solidarity.
