- Gov. Phil Murphy on Friday signed an executive order creating a Task Force on Pandemic and Emergency Preparedness. The order comes after a nearly 1,000-page review of the state’s COVID-19 response was released March 11. That report cited systemic failures that cost the lives of tens of thousands of New Jersey residents.

The party line, which local parties use to emphasize their picks on the ballots in 19 of New Jersey's 21 counties, is being challenged in a lawsuit filed by Rep. Andy Kim (D-3rd).

Many Jewish advocates spoke out against the resolution.
